Dear [plook],

Thank you for your inquiry regarding this type of activity in the City parks.
The City of Dublin does not have any rules that prohibit this type of game in the parks.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

04. Comments: Hello, I am a Dublin resident and am writing to ask if you
could help me determinte if "GeoCaching" is permitted in Dublin parks?
GeoCaching is a "game" that encourages a "leave no trace" mentality as well as promotes
litter removal through CITO (cache-in, trash-out) events, and is generally
considered to be park-friendly. Furthermore, the fundamental premise of the
game is played in secrecy, and therefore GeoCaching does not draw attention
to itself. For more information on GeoCaching, I am including the following
links, and I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
